When you’re going underground in Minecraft, what’s the first thing you do? Some people like to dig straight down, while others take a more staircase like path. Yet still, others like to make long wide paths, while some do narrow paths. When I play, I generally make narrow paths, although I’m trying to make wider paths. Leave a comment if you agree that wider paths look cooler and cleaner.
As mentioned before, there are multiple methods of going downward. Staircases seem to be growing ever popular. In the image below, the creator built a straight staircase down into the Library. While spiral staircases can be fun, a well built staircase of any kind will look good.
Ravines can make a cool place to make a fortress. Tons of resources are usually available with coal, iron, and many times even gold. While it’s a neat idea to make a fortress in a Ravine, they’re a lot more fun to just explore. The larger the Ravine, the better they generally are.
Whether you’re going underground in Minecraft, or just looking for resources, either way you’ll eventually have to go underground. There are tons of resources that can’t be found above ground and chances are, you’ll have to fight for some of them. Be sure to go prepared.
